Northern Touch Music Festival is Winnipeg’s biggest annual Hip-Hop, R&B, and Soul festival. It took place this year on June 29th, 30th, and July 1st at four different venues. The Cube Stage in Old Market Square acted as the festival’s the main stage while each night’s after parties took place at Forth Cafe, Palomino Club, and La Carnita. This year marked the second year for the festival, which featured musical talent from around the globe with plenty of local talent being featured during the weekend as well. This years headliners included Toki Wright with Miss Brit, Dai Burger, and Murs.

Unfortunately several periods of showers forced the third day of the festival to be moved indoors to the Palomino Club. Ultimately because of the weather, I never made my way down to the festival on Canada Day to photograph the event.
